What are the main differences between Hot thermal oil circulating pump and traditional pump?

The bearing of Hot thermal oil circulating pump is immersed in the conveying medium, and the lubrication and cooling of the conveying medium are generally selected as corrosion resistant, high strength engineering plastics, corundum ceramics, stainless steel and other materials. More commonly used bearings in China are graphite and reinforced plastics. Graphite, especially impregnated graphite, has good self-lubrication, heat resistance corrosion, low coefficient of friction, a wide range of applications, but graphite is brittle, low strength, the shaft bending and local overload is very sensitive, should pay special attention to. With steel as matrix, porous bronze as intermediate layer and plastic as surface layer, three-layer composite bearing has high compressive strength, small friction coefficient, stable size, noise reduction and shock absorption, and has been widely used in recent years.
The seal of the heat conduction oil pump adopts the form of packing seal and mechanical seal. The packing seal uses the high temperature resistant packing, which has good thermal adaptability. The mechanical seal uses the hard alloy material with high mechanical strength and good wear resistance to ensure the sealing performance under high temperature. Imported polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE for short) lip seal, so that the sealing performance has a leap, than rubber seal reliability increased 25 times, corrosion resistance.
Heat conduction oil pumps are particularly suitable for the properties of synthetic oils used in heat transfer systems. Traditional pump designs are not suitable for lower lubricity and, in many cases, reduced viscosity, so long as the temperature in a heat transfer system becomes too high, the plant operator must choose either petroleum-based oil or synthetic oil for heat transfer fluids. When modern oils are used, systems with feed temperatures up to around 300 C can be left in a filling and require little maintenance service for their entire service life. Once the feed temperature rises above 300℃, only high quality synthetic oil will be appropriate. Under these conditions, even a slight increase in temperature will have a decisive effect on the life of the oil. An additional 10℃ is used to double the specific decomposition rate of the product. When compared with petroleum-based heat transfer oils, synthetic oils and maintenance volumes were significantly reduced.
The quality of oil also directly affects pump performance. If a large number of low boiling point compounds are formed, the gas will pocket and the flow will break out as a result. This allows greater pressure on the pump, reducing their ability to low-boiling compounds can reduce the capacity of the heat-conducting pump, which in the heater increases the temperature of the film, accelerates the decomposition of the heat transfer fluid, and eventually forms more low-boiling points. Not taking this into account, synthetic heat transfer oil is placed for the special requirements of the pump. Petroleum-based oils have lower lubricity than petroleum-based oils.
