1. Installation and start-up of pneumatic diaphragm pump
Put the pump as close to the water source as possible, so that the suction pipe line is short, the number of configuration parts is reduced, and the pipeline specifications are not reduced. In order to extend the life of the diaphragm, to make the pump as close as possible to the pumped liquid, when the inlet pressure exceeds 3 meters liquid column, it is necessary to install a set of slow pressure adjustment device to extend the life of the diaphragm. If hard piping is installed, a short hoose should be used to connect the pump to the piping. The hose can slow down the vibration and distortion of the pipe, and it is recommended to use a pressurized tank to reduce the impact force in the fluid.
2. Supply gas
The supply pressure of stainless steel pneumatic diaphragm pump cannot exceed 125PSI (8.6BAR), and the supply pressure of plastic pneumatic diaphragm pump cannot exceed 100PSI (6.9BAR). The air inlet of the pump is connected to an air source with sufficient capacity and pressure load design requirements. If the gas supply line is a hard line, connect a short hose between the pump and the line to reduce distortion. The weight of the air intake pipe and the pressure regulator filter also require support bodies. Failure to support the pipe will damage the pump. Therefore, a pressure regulating valve must be installed to ensure that the supply pressure does not exceed the specified range.
3. Check the diaphragm pump before operation
Before work, check all the fixed objects to prevent loosening, and tighten the loose places to avoid leakage.
4. Intake and start
When starting, the air valve is opened about one-half to three-fourths of a turn. After starting, open the air valve to increase the air flow until the required flow rate is reached.
Step 5 Exhaust
(1) If the diaphragm is broken, the purpose of the extraction or the gas will enter the air port of the pump and be discharged into the atmosphere, and when the dangerous or toxic substances are extracted, the pipeline needs to be discharged to the appropriate place for safety treatment.
(2) If the pump is sunk into the liquid for work, the gas needs to be discharged from the liquid surface, and the exhaust pipe cannot be less than 2.45cm. Reducing the size of the exhaust pipe limits the gas flow and reduces the utilization of the pump. When the material level is higher than the pump, the discharge outlet needs to be higher to prevent siphoning.
(3) At a certain temperature and humidity, the discharged gas is likely to freeze, and the use of gas drying can eliminate most of the problems.

If used to transport easily cured substances, in order to prevent damage to the pump, it needs to be thoroughly cleaned after each use. In the cold freezing temperature in winter, it is necessary to drain the water in the pump after use in any case to prevent the water in the pump from freezing.
